SL Tribune -- Salt Lake City police have arrested seven suspected drug dealers near Pioneer Park.
The latest narcotics sweep lasted from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
The seven arrestees face felony charges, including possession with intent to distribute and offering or arranging the sale of a controlled substance, police said.
Police arrested 15 at the park near 300 South and 300 West in a sting one month ago on suspicion of distributing drugs and solicitation. Many of those arrestees faced deportation, and some were aggravated re-enterers who had been deported and returned to the United States illegally.
Police also arrested more than 900 people in two prior operations -- 658 in November 2007 and 250 during a 60-hour sweep in April.
