REVIVER SIGNS TO STATE OF MIND RECORDINGS

The hardest working band in Salt Lake Hardcore history has signed to State of Mind Recordings (Broadway Calls, Daggermouth, This Is Hell, Dead Hearts...).

Congrats dudes.

Someone obviously cares about them enough.

They care plenty enough about the scene, they care enough not to try and ruin it for anybody else. Never once have I felt like I was judged by them or their crowd.

Anyways, good for them. They work hard and they're a great band with great dudes in it.

Welp. I feel silly. Sorry Casey.

Oh the internet...

Missing out on fake posts is the worst. Someone's gonna have to fill me in.

Fake Casey said something to the effect of "Who gives a fuck about Reviver? They don't give a fuck about our scene anyways. They're sellouts for signing to a label This Is Hell was on. Next thing you know they'll be playing with Madball or some 'tough guy' band and putting on shows with Kollective and venues they operate through like Kilby... Oh wait." And then he called QandnotMatt a Fag.

So I fell for it and wrote a good defensive bit picking every piece of that statement apart. Then the posts were deleted, so I lurked Casey's E-mail and asked if he would like me to remove or edit my post.

So he probably woke up and looked at his E-mail and this thread and thought, "the fuck is this guy talking about?"

What a scandal. Haha.

Well lets be fair... If you guys did play with Madball I would actually be way excited and mosh way hard. Like hella high fives and a minimum of 3 stage dives.

Remember when Madball played In the Venue? I definitely performed a stage dive or two.

It was like that scene in Mean Girls though, when the bitchy chick apologizes for everyone being jealous of her and they let her crush her ditzy friend. (Yeah, I've seen it a few times.)

I think I might've crushed Brook, before landing with all my force on one vertebrae. And the stage is like 6 feet tall. Fuck. That was a great show.

Long story short, if you turn down a tour with Madball it's gonna bum me out in a major way, Sam.
