GCA WEEKEND PREVIEW JUlY 3-5

FRIDAY - Most people have a three day weekend, so make the most of it by starting off early.

Real Salt Lake vs. San Jose - Everyone got really excited about the US beating Spain last week and a lot of you probably still have "futbol" on the brain. What better way than by heading out south to catch a "match."
Mike Murdock: Fun is Dead - Gallery stroll is a few weeks away, but local art is always on display. Head over to NoBrow Coffee (315 E. Broadway) and check this stuff out.

SATURDAY - It's the 4th of July, so celebrate the day the old fashioned way—BBQ's and fireworks. Just don't get too out of hand. We don't want anyone starting fires or hurting themselves. Unless you video tape it and give us exclusive rights to it.

Sugarhouse Park - The Sugarhouse Arts Festival will be going on all day—complete with booths, food and live entertainment and the fireworks start at dusk (usually a little after 10).
Salt Lake Bees vs. Tacoma - It's just not summertime without baseball, and this game comes complete with fireworks.
Stadium of Fire - Feel like heading down to Provo to watch the Jonas Brothers? Me either, but that will also be going on.

SUNDAY - Nothing too exciting going on on Sunday (as usual) so if you've got any suggestions other than sleeping in, let us know. We're interested.

But as usual, there's always an opportunity for a late brunch after you wake up. Then maybe catch a movie. Or go on a bike ride. Just make the most of it—you've got work on Monday.
