THE ASSASINATION OF DIMEBAG UP FOR AUCTION

Tom Sandord's controversial rendering of the murder of Pantera axe-man Dimebag Darrell will be auctioned via Phillips de Pury & Company's music-theme sale on November 21, 2009 at the company's London, England headquarters.

"I think of it as a history painting that attempts to depict one of the more bizarrely tragic moments of the past decade." - Tom Sanford.

I think its funny how people say disembodied was the heaviest band in the 90's when there is no doubt it was Pantera. Now I’m not a metal head or anything like that...but I give respect where respect is due. If it wasn’t for this band none of those “chugga chugga breakdown” bands would even be here.
