SLHC MUSIC ARCHIVE: OPENED UP - ALL DRESSED UP AND NOWHERE TO DIE

Opened Up's only recording was released in November of 2001 and contains five tracks of hardcore/metal that only a Salt Lake City band is capable of capturing.

The group was born from members Eric Bradford and Jake Miller of 78 Days After Death and Trevor Hale from Cherem and rounded out with Brandon Anderson on bass and Troy Trujillo on vocals. The band had a short-lived career, but certainly made an impact on the up-and-coming Salt Lake hardcore scene of the early 2000s.

While All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Die was the group's only CD release, they did put out a special cassette demo pack, complete with a sticker and a razor blade with handwritten lyrics. Only 20 were made and were available at Opened Up's only non-Utah show in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Included in this file is the entire layout from the album. Only 100 were pressed and were sold out on the first night.

Keep your eyes peeled for a Salt Lake Hardcore 101 on Opened Up in the near future.
