Besides the catastrophic casting error that is Brad Pitt, it looks like were in for the same shit. Slow sequences with shitty Crystal Method-esque electro and mouths gaping. This guy is a fucking hack.

I always thought the dialogue in his movies were good, but a lot of them were pretty fucking boring...just really quotable.

YOU ARE CRAZY. I think he is the only person cast that makes any sense. To be honest I cant actually remember any of Quentins movies that have "shitty Crystal Method-esque electro and mouths gaping" In fact most of his movies have awesome old fashioned soundtracks. I think this movie will be awesome.

I'll agree with that list, but I don't think it's fair to count Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. He was only in that for maybe two seconds. The rest of the list I'll agree with.

Tarantino peaked with the fourth room in Four Rooms.

But I saw Dirty Work 4 times in the theater and wore out my mom's Blockbuster Card renting Bio-Dome, so what the fuck do I know...

that was a good list casey but you forgot meet joe black, that was the movie that put him at the top.
brad pitt is a good actor. but i didnt like burn after reading or the assassination of jesse james.

Man, that list actually does kind of negate my point. The Assassination of Jesse James was underrated as fuck. And True Romance (another Tarantino screenplay), Se7en, and 12 Monkeysare all really good. I am still not sure if all of that makes up for Mr. and Mrs. Smith. As for the electro, I was just being a dick because of its similarity to the Vol. 1 trailer. Valid point regardless. I think he has come to favor shock value over artifice, which is good in some cases (Resevoir Dogs) and contrived in others (Jackie Brown). Tarantino's movies are entertaining, at the very least, and Pitt's willingness to play a complete fucking idiot in Burn After Reading deserves some points.

I have always enjoyed Tarantino's movies and I love movies about war so this looks pretty good to me. I also think that Brad Pitt is a pretty good actor

God, I need to get out and watch more movies.

I thought Bio-Dome was hilarious when I was little. It was on Showtime the other night, so I tried to see if the magic was still there. It was not. I couldn't even make it ten minutes.
