What are the odds?
Salt Lake Tribune -- A 21-year man was taken to a North Ogden fire department Wednesday afternoon with a gunshot wound to his eye and police have arrested a second man for shooting him.
Just after 2 p.m., firefighters at North View Fire Department heard a man banging on the station door and yelling that his friend needed an ambulance, said North View fire Deputy Chief Dave Wade.
Paramedics went outside and found the 21-year-old man conscious and breathing in his friend's car holding a towel over his bloody eye, Wade said. They treated him, put him on a gurney and sent him to Ogden Regional Medical Center in an ambulance, Wade said.
The man's friend drove to the fire station from a residence about a mile away, Wade said.
According to Harrisville Police Chief Max Jackson, the man who was shot had been in a fight or dispute with another man who grabbed the gun and shot the man. The bullet apparently only grazed the 21-year-old, but he may lose the eye, Jackson said.
The shooter was arrested.
