Last December, PETA was in talks with Vick's management, public relations and legal teams about shooting a public service announcement to help combat dog fighting.
But then they found out that he enjoyed watching dog fights (you know, the ones he was running out of his house) and decided he might be crazy, so they withdrew the offer.

Also, a number of the surviving dogs ended up at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary here in Utah. National Geographic has an update on a few of them.
