SALT LAKE MAGAZINE INTERVIEW WITH DAN CHRISTOFFERSON

Salt Lake Magazine -- Dan Christofferson is used to dealing with misperceptions.

When he went on his Mormon mission in central Europe after high school, the natives thought he was Amish and asked him how he lived without electricity.

When he came home to Utah and started covering his arms with intricate artwork in the form of tattoos, some thought he had strayed from his faith.

And when his own art started blending meticulous hand-drawing and painting with computer-manipulated digital imagery, it was probably hard for traditionalists to know what to make of the young artist.
