This is not hardcore news -- except in a Green-Rage-Eco-Justice sense, I guess, maybe.. It's a pressing matter for Utahns no less.
HJR 12 is a bill going to vote in the Utah Senate tomorrow that, if passed, will ask the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to halt its carbon reduction initiatives. Basically, a handful of politicians are deciding that Utah residents deny climate science based on nothing but their own backwoods opinions and plan to report this to the nation.
