Apparently, South Carolina metal band Emery played the Layton Hills Mall this afternoon. I thought only teeny bopper bands from the 80's—like New Kids on the Block and Tiffany—did mall tours.
Maybe Christian pop-metal is resurrecting the trend. Anyone check it out? I bet it was awkward.

I unfortunately went to layton hills mall that day to go shopping and the event was going on. For about 3 hours we thought it was an all ages rave matinee because
apparently the new style is for boys to wear silver spandex with their zumies shoes and painted letters on their chest and rainbow fairy wings....?
