I'm hearing some U2 (musical) and Bright Eyes(vocal)influence. At least that's what this is reminding me of.
No there is definitely more than a hint of conor oberst in the vocals. Really digging Not Dead though, however the chorus in that song reminds me of the chorus in Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana.
