HE SCORES!
From Sound and Vision Mag:
Honestly, the whole things sounds a little like a hoax to me, but there are many reports this morning that Arizona Comcast subscribers were greeted by a few seconds of porn right after Cardinals receiver, Larry Fitzgerald scored Arizona’s final touchdown. The glitch apparently only scalded the eyeballs of viewers watching in SD, while HD viewers didn’t miss a single second of John Madden’s commentary. A Tucsonian whipped up a quick site called ComcastSuperBowlPorn.com (Good luck getting that past your office Internet filter) where the clip is being hosted. It is obviously NSFW, unless, of course, you work at home and no one cares if you look at Evan Stone’s private regions at 10:45 in the morning.
Comcast offered me a polite, “no comment,” but they’re reportedly telling customers that they can expect a free day of cable service for their trouble. I would ask someone from the area to confirm that this actually went down in the comments, but I know all of you were watching in HD. But, in the off-chance one of you was at a party thrown by a friend with a non-HD set (the nerve!), let us know.
