A former Granite School District bus driver was sentenced Monday to probation and year in jail for fondling a 17-year-old special education student.
John Michael Tanner, 54, told 3rd District Judge Sheila McCleve he had enjoyed the girl's company and didn't mean to harm her. But he admitted crossing the line when he fondled her breasts and crotch.
"I'm very sorry for what I've done to her," said Tanner, who was fired from his job after the relationship was discovered. "I knew it was wrong and I should have never done it."

Oh, ya think?! What a piece of shit. Yeah, touching the handicap girl seemed like a good idea at the time, but now that I'm caught, I'm really sorry. He ain't fucking sorry, he only got a year in jail.
