WHERE ARE WE GOING TO GET GLEW STICKS NOW?

A 16 year old horse from AZ returned to her home in Kanab with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary this week after another successful surgery in Sheridan, Wyoming. In 2004 she arrived at the sanctuary with leg injuries that should have resulted in her death. She had her leg amputated in May and is now fitted with a prosthetic leg much like one a human would wear. The veterinarian who performed the surgery has stated that the practice of euthanasia on injured horses is barbaric, although I don't necessarily disagree I think at $20,000 a leg hes not going to be saving many horse lives.
